Press & hold the dimmable touch sensor on the built in nightlight to adjust to your preferred intensity, then let go. Press and release to turn off.
Basecamp is made of electroplated zinc alloy – not plastic. It is sturdy, lightweight (under 12oz), & will not easily tip over. It comes with protective silicon feet to keep it securely in place and help prevent damage to the underlying surface.
The bottom cover easily screws off with a small Phillips screwdriver (not included) to reveal extraordinary cable management. Both your Apple Watch and iPhone USB cables tuck neatly into the bottom using built in cord wraps that keep two cables totally out of site. Hides both a 1m and 2m cable simultaneously inside!
The back contains a cable channel to tuck your Apple Watch cable into to keep it out of sight. An included power adapter plugs into the round port that powers and charges all 3 devices. The back side has a rapid charging 5V 2.5amp port that can charge any device that can be charged by USB, including tablets.
The Apple Watch cradle sits at a stable and comfortable viewing angle of 45 degrees. The iPhone / smartphone cradle comes with three different black silicon adapters and 2 round cable nuts that will work with different types of phones. The cradle is also large enough to hold most phones in their case, including the larger cases.
Once connected, your Apple Watch charger stays in the Basecamp stand (it can be removed if you need to). The circular recess is compatible with both the 38mm & 42mm magnetic charger. The cutout contains a removable sticky material to hold the battery charger in place so it doesn’t lift out with the watch.
